Welcome to Bible Solace. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bible Solace mobile application (the "App") operated by Bit Robotics Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"), a company registered in England and Wales.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Service Description

Bible Solace is a spiritual companion application that provides:

  • Daily personalized Bible verses based on emotional check-ins
  • A Bible reader with multiple translations
  • Verse bookmarking and sharing features
  • Daily notification reminders
  • Optional AI-generated reflections on scripture

The App is designed to complement, not replace, traditional Bible study, church attendance, or professional spiritual guidance.

2. Eligibility

The App is available to users of all ages. No registration or personal information is required to use the App. If you are under 18, we recommend using the App with parental awareness and guidance.

3. User Account

Bible Solace does not require you to create an account. Your device is identified by an anonymous Install ID generated upon installation. This identifier:

  • Is used to store your preferences, history, and bookmarks
  • Is reset when you reinstall the App
  • Cannot be transferred between devices

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with limited features including basic Bible reading, bookmarks, and basic notifications.

Premium Subscription

Premium features are available through the following subscription options:

  • Weekly: $1.99 per week (with 7-day free trial)
  • Yearly: $29.99 per year (with 7-day free trial)
  • Lifetime: $59.99 one-time purchase

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Current pricing is always displayed in the App before purchase.

Free Trial

Weekly and Yearly subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Payment is charged to your store account upon purchase confirmation
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore your subscription through the App settings. This requires signing in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
  • Redistribute or share your subscription access with others

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content

The App, including its design, features, graphics, and original content, is owned by Bit Robotics Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Bible Translations

Bible text is provided under license from respective translation copyright holders. Each translation retains its original copyright. Our use of these translations does not transfer any rights to you beyond personal, non-commercial reading within the App.

Reflections and personalized content generated by AI are provided for personal spiritual guidance only. This content is generated automatically and should not be considered professional religious, psychological, or medical advice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Merchantability
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or completeness of content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements or that any errors will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIT ROBOTICS LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bit Robotics Ltd regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
